i think jordan and blair should be america’s sweethearts. can i nominate them for that?
my relationship with jordan and blair began when blair very carefully set up their gorgeous downtown proposal. it was a photographer’s dream, and i only had to lie a leeettle bit during the process… but i like to think i was quite believable, and from the gaggle of ladies, (fascinated and adorable strangers), inside harry’s, to their close family waiting to shower them with love, the proposal went off without a hitch. from the engagement photos to the wedding, i’ve had such an amazing time getting to know these two. their story, their relationship, their laughter… this couple is just so awesome. they are so in love. and they are so loved. their friends and family showered them with joy and well-wishes from start to finish. they are such a support system and strong community for this couple; we should all be so lucky! and seriously, how lucky am i to have documented some really major moments for them along the way? how often does one get the trifecta!?
this was also my first wedding shooting at the new liquid art winery in manhattan ks, and boy, are these vineyards an exciting new place to have in town! the views from their hilltop are unlike anything else around. i can’t recommend them highly enough.
